Hailed as the "Fastest Ice on Earth", the Olympic Oval, built for the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Olympic Games, was designed with speed skaters as the inspiration, resulting in 8 world records during the games. And to keep breaking records, the facility was built within LEED qualifying standards, making it one of the first 13 LEED certified buildings in the world!
