The Kennecott Utah Copper Visitors Center houses 65 exhibits, displays and a 90-seat theatre where visitors can learn about it's history and mining processes. As a founding member of the Climate Registry, Kennecott is committed to environmental stewardship, building the structure to qualify for LEED certification. This includes using recycled materials, innovative design processes, energy efficient measures, and reduced water consumption in usage and landscaping.
